A Letter from Pastor Mark
Trinity Coronavirus Update – NOVEMBER 17, 2021

Dear Trinity Church Family:

It's been 18 months and we're still learning more and more about the COVID-19 virus. As cases have been on the rise, we want to continue to keep our Trinity Church family safe and healthy, both physically and spiritually. As we head into the cold and flu season, we continue to move forward in a Spirit of faith and not fear and love each other as brothers and sisters in Christ. We feel confident that the policies we have had in place have been helpful, and we are continuing to use the same guidelines as before.

As a reminder, Trinity's current in-person policy is as follows:

VACCINATED? According to the CDC guidelines, masks are no longer required for those who fall into the "Fully Vaccinated" category but are recommended in large gatherings.
UNVACCINATED? The CDC recommends that you continue to wear your mask in the building at this time.
SEATING: In order to facilitate social distancing guidelines, seating in our FLC worship center will continue to observe a 3 feet distancing radius.
FAMILY TABLES: We will continue to provide tables in the gather space for use by our families with young children who do not attend our Trinity Kids Nursery or Classrooms just yet.
HAND WASHING: Hand Hygiene is ALWAYS a good idea! Please continue to wash hands frequently with soap and water. Hand sanitizer is also readily available at our entrances and throughout the building. Hand washing & gloves are a practice for all event staff and volunteers.
NOT FEELING WELL? We ask that if you are sick or have symptoms, that you not come until you are well. Touchless Thermometers are available at our Connections Desk. Worship with us ONLINE and join groups via Zoom if you can.
TRINITY KIDS: Trinity Kids are not required to wear masks at this time, however we recommend they wear one if they are able and willing. Masks are available at the check-in desk. Three feet distancing, frequent handwashing, and cleaning of surfaces are done regularly.
GIVING STATIONS - You will see our giving boxes as you enter the gym and in place of passing offering plates. We encourage you to give online if possible. It's SO easy!
CLEANING: Our clean-up crew is committed to disinfecting all common-use objects and areas! This will occur between all services.
What do I do if I am exposed to COVID-19?

If at any time you are exposed, the current CDC Guidelines are as follows:

Quarantine (for 14 days from date of last exposure) if you have been in close contact (within 6 feet of someone for a cumulative total of 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period) with someone who has COVID-19, unless you have been fully vaccinated. People who are fully vaccinated do NOT need to quarantine after contact with someone who had COVID-19 unless they have symptoms. However, fully vaccinated people should get tested 5-7 days after their exposure, even if they don’t have symptoms (Fever (100.4) cough, shortness of breath) and wear a mask indoors in public for 14 days following exposure or until their test result is negative.

Do I need to notify anyone at the Church if I've been exposed?

We ask that you would please notify the church office at (734) 459-9550 if you have both 1) tested positive for COVID, and 2) attended a church gathering within 7 days of positive test result, so that we can take appropriate action. We will not share your name or personal information with anyone, but we may, if appropriate, contact groups who were exposed for an extended time to inform them of a potential exposure.

Will someone contact me if I've been exposed to someone at a church event?

To the best of our knowledge, if we become aware that you have been potentially exposed to someone with COVID, and within 6 feet for longer than 15 minutes in a 24-hour period, you will be notified.

Thank you for the incredible cooperation and grace that you have shown one another since the beginning of this pandemic. We are thankful to serve with you as we come alive with Jesus, grow with Jesus, and change the world with Jesus!
