Have you ever wanted a place to ask, doubt, seek, question, and find some credible answers about the Christian faith? This class is for you if you have ever wondered:
- How can I trust the Bible?
- Where did all the church demoninations come from?
- What makes this church 'tick'?
- How do I join the membership of this church?
- What do Presbyterians believe anyway?
- How can I become involved in this church?
The relaxed, friendly atmosphere of these classes will give you the opportunity to ask questions and learn about the Christian faith and about Trinity Church.
We visualize these classes as meeting two similar yet distinct needs. First, there are those of you who are attracted by Trinity's friendliness, excitement, and enthusiasm. Although you are not sure if you want to join at this time, you would like to know more about this church. These classes are designed for you. We will investigate the nature of God, the basic problem facing every person, the solution that Christ offers to mankind's problem, and the response that God expects from each of us.
Then there are those who have come to Trinity Church and have already decided they want to join its membership. These classes are also designed for you and are, in fact, required for membership. We will discuss the mission of Trinity, what membersip involves, how our church is governed, and how you can participate in the life and work of Trinity.
The greater the investmanet, the greater the yield. This is true for spiritual profit as well as financial profit. To help you maximize the benefits of these classes, we ask that each class member do some weekly outside reading and study. These assignments are extremely important in understanding each week's lesson.
